Wire Rope Screw Terminal Stainless Steel black with Wooden Thread | Swageless Terminal

Stainless steel screw terminal black for self-assembly with wooden thread for 2mm - 6mm ropes

Our black colored & salt water resistant screw terminals with wood thread made of V4A AISI 316 stainless steel consist of an open M6 thread terminal with a screwed-in wood thread, as well as an insert with allen grub screws for fastening the wire rope.

Proven quality: the black stainless steel screw terminals with wooden thread can be used for 2mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm & 6mm thick wire ropes. Due to the processing of high-quality and rustproof V4A stainless steel, the screw terminals with wooden thread can also be exposed to difficult weather conditions.

Easy handling: With the help of an Allen key, the wire rope terminal, through the three grub screws, can be quickly and securely attached to the wire rope. Crimping, as with roller terminals, is not necessary. By using a right-handed and a left-handed terminal, a steel cable can be tensioned easily and quickly. Thanks to the wooden thread, the terminal can be screwed to suitable anchor points with or without dowels. No further fastening materials such as snap hooks or eyebolts are required for attachment. Using calibrated universal tensile testing machines, the following minimum breaking forces of the terminals could be determined:

• 2mm: 140kg
• 3mm: 400kg
• 4mm: 300kg
• 5mm: 530kg
• 6mm: 500kg

Attention. The breaking forces of the terminals are given without safety factor. Please note that wire rope terminals for self-assembly are not suitable for lifting and pulling loads. The detailed test reports can be found under "Test reports" on the article page.

Advantage to the rolled terminal: Stainless steel screw terminals with wooden thread for self-assembly can be optimally used as a connecting element to securely fasten Stainless Steel Wire Ropes at suitable attachment points. Due to the possibility of self-assembly, the exact length of the wire rope does not have to be defined in advance, but can be individually adapted to the conditions on site.

Easy expansion options: Our screw terminals with wooden thread can of course be combined with all matching Stainless Steel Wire Ropes with or without sheathing from the store of Drahtseile24.
